Good purchase for the price
The Swimline Cool Jam Basketball/Volleyball is a great value for the price. The components are rugged and easy to assemble. Our family loves the basketball, we have played volleyball a couple of times and the transition between the two is fairly easy.
The only problem we have had is the basketball that came with the game is a rubberish ball that when inflated is out of round, (coconut shaped). If you plan on using a heftier ball be prepared to keep putting the back board back in place. The volleyball has more gerth to it and is hard on the hands if using a slapping motion, however using your palms or fists like a conventional volleyball makes for a more competitive game. We used a beach ball and it makes for a fun game for all ages.
