Who can use The Pool Tree System?
Round aboveground pools up to 27' and Oval aboveground pools up to 18' x 36'. Pool fence cannot be attached to pool uprights; uprights must allow for straps to pass behind them.

Can wind affect my pool cover?
Heavy winds could damage any type of pool cover. For mesh covers, we place extra weights on the cover temporarily, causing the cover sections to sink under water to stabilize the cover from wind. When heavy winds stop, simply remove the extra weights form the pool cover. In areas of sustained high winds, we recommend extra weights on top of your mesh pool cover for the season.

How do I adjust the cord/rope supports to the proper tension for the pool?
All ropes are supplied at the correct and identical length based on your pool type. To adjust the rope for your pool's specific size, first set all ropes to the same length (and be sure the black poly cord is stretched approximately 4", leaving tension on the line). It may take a few trips around the pool to find the proper length. When the proper length is determined, simply cut off any excess rope.

Will the pool cover fit over The Pool Tree?
Yes, The Pool Tree workswith standard pool cover sizes, ensuring a good fit over the system.

Can I use The Pool Tree with both mesh and solid winter covers?
Yes, the product can be used with both mesh and solid standard "lay-on-the-water" winter covers. With Mesh Covers, debris dries & blows right off the cover, helping to keep it clean and dry. With Solid Covers, water & debris are forced to the outer edges of pool for easy springtime removal with a skimmer. Whether you prefer a mesh or solid cover, removing it for pool opening can now be hassle free and a lot less tedious.

Do I do anything different when closing my pool?
Yes. Because mesh covers allow water to permeate through into your pool, we first shock and stabilize the pool water in the spring two weeks before opening. No additional steps are required when using a solid cover.

What about the water level in the pool?
Keeping the water level is a simple matter. There are many different solutions. We first plug the skimmer. Next we remove the ring and the deflector ball for the water inlet hole. Then we disconnect the hose, leaving an opening for excess water to level itself up to that point.

Will the Pool Tree System tear my pool cover?
The Pool Tree was designed to have no sharp edges that could potentially damage your pool.

Can I use pool clips on my pool cover?
No. Do not use pool clips to tie down the pool cover. The Pool Tree was designed to let the pool cover have some movement, to allow debris to blow away in the wind.
